Oldham Drug and Alcohol Action Team, and Oldham Police are using Tackling Drugs Changing Lives Week, to answer your questions about all drugs related issues in Oldham
The national week which begins on Monday 8th June aims to show residents what work is being done to tackle drugs in the local area.
'Oldham DAAT is aware that there can be common misconceptions out there about drug users and treatment, and this is our chance to set the record straight. We want to use this week to ask residents what their concerns are, and hopefully we'll be able to address some of these.' Explains Janet Sewart DAAT Strategic Manager.
Chief Superintendent Caroline Ball said: "This week of action is a chance for us to show the communities what we are doing to tackle drug-related crime in their area. It is also an opportunity for residents to raise their concerns with us and feel confident that we will do what we can to address them."
The questions and answers will be published in the Oldham Chronicle at the end of Tackling Drugs Changing Lives Week.
